Episcopal Church of the Good Sheperd | La Dolce Vita

Martha and Beau got married at The Episcopal Church of the Good Sheperd. She looked amazing in a silk renassaince inspired gown that was handmade just for her. After the ceremony the wedding party headed over to the Shoreline Grill for some bat watching (apparently they were out but we didn't see them!), yummy food and dancing fun. I bet Beau is an amazing chef, too bad they don't live here in Austin. I tried to convince them that Austin was the new Brooklyn so we'll see. Besides, you can't get BBQ in NYC like you can here!

The Original County Line

All Martha needed to tell me was that a) her fiance Beau was a chef in the big apple and b) they were having their rehearsal dinner at The Original County Line. Actually, she just needed to say BBQ and I was hers. Martha and Beau have exceptionally good taste in wine and food. Their first choice was Smitty's in Lockhardt, the holy grail of Texas BBQ. Unfortunatly for Smitty's, they were unable to accomodate Martha's weddinng schedule and missed out on a remarkable couple and their guests. The County Line on the other hand, spoilt us rotten with juicy ribs, homemade ice cream and a phenomenal view of rolling Texan hills.

Port Aransas Family Vacation

Pictures from our recent family vacation to the Texas Riviera, Mustang Island. We had a blast, Lucy's 1st time to the beach. She was so excited. She charged the waves and laughed and laughed, makes me smile just thinking about it.
