Laura & Matt had a beautiful wedding at Vintage Villas at Lake Travis, near Austin, TX this past weekend. We had the best light possible and gorgeous flowers by one of my Austin favorites, Petal Pushers. This was a very touching wedding, you could tell that Laura & Matt are a perfect match!

Jacob's Well Wedding | La Dolce Vita

What a fantastic wedding! Jessica and Chris were married in a private ceremony on her parents lovely homestead in Wimberley, Texas. This was a beautiful and environmentally conscious wedding. Jessica is a woman after my own heart, her gown was borrowed, her shoes were reclaimed, their rings were from greenkarat.com and most, if not all of the delisious food served at their intimate backyard reception was organic or locally grown. Oh, and did I mention the flowers were organic too?

Austin Laguna Gloria Wedding | Jeff & Jill Dachis

Jeff & Jill Dachis were married at Laguna Gloria on Saturday May 10th in all but biblical conditions. To accompany Jill down the aisle we first had a light drizzle which promptly turned into an outright pour. Rings were exchanged amidst thunder claps and violet streaks of thunder. After finally running from the huppa for refuge, the ceremony was concluded to the falling of golf ball sized hail under a once pristine white wedding canopy. Guests later reported that an unusual species of champagne drinking frogs had overturned a bottle of gran cru and were drunkenly singing Yiddish wedding songs to an astonished audience. (o.k. this last part didn't really happen but it's not far from the truth)

This was hands down the most memorable wedding I have ever captured. I love you both and thank you for letting us be a part of your legendary day. A very big thank you also to my die hard second shooters Chelsea Fullerton & Suzi Q of Q Weddings and to Tiffany Craven for your relentless professionalism in such extraordinary circumstances.
